CO-EDUCATION

Co-education means educating boys and girls together. it is the salient feature of modern educational system. both boys and girls attend the same school or collage. it is popular in all civilized and progressive country of the world. though in some countries there are separate schools for boys and girls, co-education providing schools are mostly famous. The opposite sexes can share there ideas and views. co-education teaches boys and girls to know and understand each other. they study together and play together. there are good understanding between them. They don't hate each other. Girls learn something from boys and boys learn something from girls. the sense of competition among boys and girls also encourage the student to work hard. the people who are against the co-education believe that it decrease the discipline, study, moral and entire life of the students.
Co-education provides better environment to both boys and girls. All the existing schools should be made co-education. The supporter of the co-education strongly argue that it promotes better understanding between young boys and girls. they can understand each other. to teach boys and girls together is natural. boys and girls are equal. they should not be separated for education. co-education strengthen sense of intimacy, friendship, equality and co-operation between and among the students. they are psychologically motivated to learn. they build up they feeling of the competition in study and other constructive activities. the amount of the expenditure can be reduced by running co-education academic institutions. we do not need to make separate schools and colleges for boys and for girls. Although some people and educationalists deny co-education system, it is the need of today. co-education certainly makes student learn anything properly because co-education institutions have homely environment.

however, it shows some drawbacks too. the teenagers give performance to dress and fashion in order to became the centre of attraction. their minds leads towards the romance rather then on study. the deep friendship is treated as love which results with an unhappy ending. however, for all over development students co-education is important.
